NEIGHBORS HELP EACH OTHER

At
LEVAPAN
 we help communities near our plants to maintain close ties with the company through training and community engagement programs that support their development and promote mutual respect.

We keep our doors open to any member of the community who is interested in learning about our production processes and our products, as well as the solutions we have developed to reduce our ecological impact.

We want them to feel safe and confident with us, and it is our responsibility to ensure the continued development of the communities that have welcomed us.

We want to instill a sense of belonging so that people will perceive
LEVAPAN
 as an ally that cares about the welfare of the community to which they belong.

How do we do it?

  • We introduce our neighbors to the yeast manufacturing process and the rational and conscious use of natural resources.
  • We organize trainings on bakery product elaboration, so that our neighbors have the opportunity to learn new skills.
  • We follow up on complaints and claims from the plant’s neighbors and are always ready to respond to all their concerns.

Building Dreams

AND A ROOF OVER THEIR HEADS

In 2016 and in alliance with the Catalina Muñoz Foundation, we delivered 9 homes to underprivileged families in our community.

To this end, we counted on the active participation of members of the population itself, who enthusiastically got involved in the different projects and contributed to the construction of decent housing for their peers.
