To continue in this direction, this year it decided to expand the Bioingredients plant located in Tuluá Valle del Cauca, the investment of this project was US 5.5 million, thus, it is expected to triple the production of Bioingredients, with the aim of responding to the global trend of consumption of organic and non-GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms) products.
In addition to continuing to serve current customers in the human, animal and plant nutrition industries,
expects to enter into personal care, biofuels, among other industries interested in replacing synthetic ingredients with the natural ones extracted from yeast, working on customized developments.
Levapan’s objectives with the plant expansion are clear:
- Increase its presence in international markets
- Double current sales over the next 5 years
- Tripling the production of Bioingredients
- Operate in a sustainable manner with the requirements in the areas where the company operates.
