Concious of the growing quality requirements of the Food,
Nutraceutical and related industries, and as a part of it's Continuous
Improvement Program, Levapan has implemented it's Quality System to
ISO-9001:2000 standards. Our Tuluá Plant has been certified
by SGS for Yeast, Yeast Extracts, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Proteins and
Flavors. Constant improvement is being made in the areas of HACCP
and GMPs.
Investment in environmental improvement is made on a constant basis.
Current projects include the building of a brand new waste water treatment
plant in Tuluá, as a part of the accoplishment of ISO 14000:1996,
as well as OSHA 18000:2000 standards.
Levapan's products from selected plants are Kosher certified by the
Orthodox Union and Halal certified by Ifanca. This allows everybody
in the world to enjoy Levapan's products.
Since 2003, the export operations out from Levapan's plant in Tuluá
are certified by the Business Anti-Smuggling Coalition, BASC.
